5th Global DWAT Workshop
DWAT helps improve understanding of the impacts of past and present water management practices on water resources, as well as the interactions between climate, water and landscape. The tool can be used to assess water resources at the operational level in all 192 WMO Member countries.
DWAT trainings have been performed over several years with experts across all WMO regions, where they were able to apply the tool in a basin of importance to their country.
A new version of the tool (2.0) has been released and a 5th DWAT Workshop will be held on 30 November to 1 December 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. The objective will be to share the results of DWAT case studies applying the new version of the tool, understand how it can be applied under different basin characteristics across all WMO Regional Associations and showcase functionalities of DWAT.
For more information on DWAT please check the DWAT Website and DWAT Technical note
