DWAT 2nd Implementation Workshops in Cambodia and Lao PDR
After the successful workshops of March 2024, experts from NMHSs gather once again to discuss the results of implementing the Dynamic Water Resources Assessment Tool (DWAT). WMO and the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) organized the 2nd National DWAT Implementation Workshops in Cambodia and Lao PDR under the framework of the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS) Cambodia and Lao PDR project.
These National DWAT workshops were held to continue the transfer knowledge on the use of DWAT to the NMHSs of both Cambodia and Lao PDR. These workshops enable the implementation of DWAT firstly in pilot basins, with the aim of covering all basins in the country in the future.
The DWAT workshops were held in Siem Reap, Cambodia and Luang Prabang, Lao PDR from the 25-27 September and 30 September to 2 October 2024 respectively.
The agenda is available here:
