WMO Side Event on Climate and Land Degradation DVD - October 2005
This DVD carries video recordings and slide presentations made during the WMO Side Event on Climate and Land Degradation. The Event was held on 18 October 2005 at the united Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON) during the Seventh Conference of Parties (COP7) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). Publications of the Commission for Agricultural Meteorology (1954-1999)
WMO published two CD-ROMs which present publications in Agricultural Meteorology of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) issued from 1953 until the end of 1998. These publications are the result of the dedicated work and commitment of the members of different working groups and rapporteurs of the Commission for Agricultural Meteorology (CAgM) of WMO.
Since the first session of CAgM held in Paris in 1953 till the eleventh session in Havana, Cuba in 1995, a number of working groups and rapporteurs were appointed to carry out the work of the Commission.on a range of topics identified as priorities by the different sessions of the Commission. Many of the Technical Notes and CAgM Reports issued from the 50s to the 80s are now out-of-print. Since these and other subsequent publications still serve as a good reference material for agrometeorologists around the world, this CD-ROM presents all these publications in one single source with aim of preserving and making available in the form of a modern medium all the past publications in agricultural meteorology of WMO.The search command included in the CD-ROMs permits Members to seek information using key words.

| Volume 1 of the CD-ROM contains Technical notes 1 to 190 (it should be noted that the Technical Note numbers are not continuous and the missing numbers relate to Technical Notes of other programmes in WMO).
Volume 2 of the CD-ROM contains Technical Notes 191 to 199 and CAgM Reports 1 to 76 as well as three brochures. |
