Advisory Group on Volcanic Science for Aviation Applications (AG-VSA)
A subsidiary body of the Standing Committee on Services for Aviation (SC-AVI)
To gather information, provide expert advice and foster coordination in the combined fields of atmospheric and volcanological science and associated applications to support aeronautical meteorological service provision as well as informed decisions by ICAO and other relevant aviation stakeholders in the context of the international airways volcano watch (IAVW).

The AG-VSA is chaired by Ian Lisk, Chair of the Standing Committee on Services for Aviation, on an ad interim basis

The AG-VSA convenes quarterly video-teleconferences and, when required, periodic face-to-face meetings. The reports arising from the face-to-face meetings are publicly available here.
