Aviation | News | 2020-05-19 | WMO issues a 'pre-announcement' letter regarding UKMO/WMO Aviation Meteorology Training Seminar
Further to our News Item on 8 April 2020, WMO has today issued a 'pre-announcement' letter to Permanent Representatives of WMO Members in Regional Associations I (Africa), II (Asia), V (South-West Pacific) and VI (Europe) relating to the United Kingdom Met Office (UKMO)/World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Aviation Meteorology Training Seminar, which is rescheduled to convene at the Meteorological Service of Singapore (MSS) in October 2021 instead of October 2020.
The letter is available in the following languages: English, French, Spanish and Russian.
A ‘first announcement and call for nominations’ will follow in the first half of 2021, subject to an assessment of the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic by that stage.
