Aviation | News | 2024-02-16 | Upcoming SERCOM-3 side-event on service delivery transformation in aeronautical meteorology
On the occasion of the third session of the WMO Services Commission (SERCOM-3), to be held in Bali, Indonesia from 4 to 9 March 2024, the Standing Committee on Services for Aviation (SC-AVI) will conduct a side-event on the impacts on Members of service delivery transformation in aeronautical meteorology.
The side-event will highlight drivers for change in aeronautical meteorology specifically and aviation more generally. It will invite Members to consider the impacts of change on their service delivery modalities and will offer advice or opinion on how Members can pro actively respond to change.
The side-event, which is in-person only event, is scheduled to take place at lunchtime on the opening day of SERCOM-3, Monday 4 March 2024. The side-event will be moderated by the Chair of SC-AVI.
