Introductory Scoping Meeting for SWFP Implementation in Southeastern Asia-Oceania subregion
In support of UN Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative, the WMO Severe Weather Forecasting Programme (SWFP) is being scale up to cover more countries and subregions as feasible.
This introductory scoping meeting is organized virtually with the designated focal points/representatives from the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) of countries in Southeastern Asia-Oceania subregion and the potential contributing global and regional centres to discuss the prospects of SWFP implementation in the Southeastern Asia-Oceania subregion.
The meeting will take place remotely online via MS Teams on Tuesday, 27 August 2024 from 07:00 to 09:00 UTC.
