Guidance on assigning a Centre Identifier for Global Services
Summary
- All Global Services operators have a centre-id, following the naming convention, indicated in the Guide to the WMO Information System (WMO-No. 1060), Volume II.
- As a convention, Global Broker centre-id will be tld-{centre-name}-global-broker
- As a convention,Global Cache centre-id will be tld-{centre-name}-global-cache.
- As a convention, GDC centre-id will be tld-{centre-name}-global-discovery-catalogue.
- As a convention, Global Monitor centre-id will be tld-{centre-name}-global-monitor.

- centre name: may contain dashes (but no other special characters).
