Global Basic Observing Network (GBON) Station Visualisation Web Tool
To support the process of the Implementation of the Global Basic Observing Network (GBON), WMO provides the web application referred below with up-to-date global station information. The application shows all GBON stations designated by Members in OSCAR/Surface through their OSCAR/Surface National Focal Points, together with their approval status. It can then be used by members and during Congress to follow and manage the process for the adoption of the composition of GBON. The application is based on ArcGIS and station information automatically synchronized from OSCAR/Surface.
