The Task Team on WIS2 for Hydrology (TT-W2FH) supports the rollout of WHOS in alignment with WIS 2.0. It finalizes the 2024–2029 operational plan, defines the WIS 2.0 topic hierarchy and metadata for hydrological data, develops KPIs to assess metadata quality, proposes updates to manuals and guides, engages hydrology stakeholders, leads WHOS implementation at national, regional, and international levels, and develops training and capacity-building materials in collaboration with WMO, academia, and regional organizations.
