-Define the strategy of the GAW CD to support GAW SIP;
-Develop an itinerary of training for all the GAW topical areas, potentially following WMO Competencies Framework and in-line with WMO's long-term strategic goals;
-Identify and advise on an advocacy approach to raise the awareness of the need of GAW related education and training;
-Identify and build potential partnerships to support training delivery on GAW topics;
-Collaborate with WMO Regional Offices to identify the available resources and training needs related to GAW;
-Identify specialized training topics to support competency development and implementation for the specialized GAW Staff;
-Develop a structure for the education and training resources database to be available on a learning platform;
-Provide regular assessment of the GAW training activities;
