Terms of Reference

Serve as a think tank to the programme and as ambassadors of IFM by applying the integrated flood management approach at large. The SBP Forum will help inform and guide APFM activities. The Terms of Reference (ToR) of the SBP forum are to:
1. Guide the APFM including the operation of the IFM HelpDesk.
2. Identify synergies for project development, particularly where SBPs can contribute in the development of project proposals, or identify opportunities for developing proposals.
3. Support in the implementation of the APFM Business Model.
4. Identify and provide support in reaching out to the potential external donors to support project implementation and core activities of APFM.
5. Ensure multidisciplinary inputs into the activities and quality assurance of the HelpDesk and suggest approaches to implement Integrated Flood Management (IFM) and End-to-End Early Warning Systems for Floods (E2E-EWS-F) concepts in the field.
6. Develop guidelines for prioritizing, where necessary, activities and requests received by the HelpDesk.
7. Guide and support the advocacy and dissemination processes of IFM, E2E-EWS-F and the activities of the HelpDesk.
8. Provide guidance for internal and external communication.
9. Offer regular feedbacks and recommendations on all APFM activities undertaken during the year.
