Coordination meeting on EW4All Plan of Action for RA VI
The Regional Association VI (RA VI) Coordination Meeting marked the official start of the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative.
The gathering, attended by key figures such as the RA VI President, the Vice-chair of the Disaster Risk Reduction Committee, and the co-chairs of the RA VI Working Groups, served as a pivotal platform for propelling the EW4All roadmap in RA VI.
The meeting, held at the WMO Headquarters in Geneva, gained momentum as a result of discussions on priority actions tailored for RA VI, with a particular emphasis on addressing key regional hazards. These collaborative efforts demonstrated a strong commitment to strengthening early warning systems and increasing disaster resilience.
