[ET-OWFS-9] Expert team on Operational Weather Forecasting System for EW4All

The seventy-eighth session of the Executive Council (EC‑78) adopted the resolutions to evolve WIPPS to meet growing user requirements, support the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative, and follow up on the WMO Unified Data Policy. The ET-OWFS has played a crucial role in identifying and standardizing core data, particularly for products ranging from nowcasting to medium-range forecasting.

To advance the objectives of the EW4All initiative and support the implementation of the WMO Unified Data Policy, the expert team will have a physical meeting focusing on key deliverables under the Action plan for the EW4All initiative and consider the following priority actions: provision of impact-related indexes; evolution of WIPPS activities for NWP to integrate AI; and development of requirements for graphical WIPPS products and actions to enhance access to these products.
