Fourth Regional WIGOS Centre Global Workshop (online)
Purpose
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) will hold the 4th RWC Global Workshop online from 17–18 and 22–23 September 2025.
This workshop is designed to strengthen the capacity of Regional WIGOS Centres (RWCs) by:
- Enhancing understanding of RWC functions and their role in operational processes,
- Supporting the effective use of WIGOS tools in daily activities,
- Facilitating the sharing of experiences and best practices among RWCs,
- Providing updates on WIGOS tool developments, upcoming plans, and potential amendments to regulatory material.
By bringing together RWC staff and experts from across the globe, the workshop will serve as a collaborative platform to exchange knowledge and ensure the continued success of RWCs within the WIGOS framework.
