In-person meeting of the Joint Expert Team on Operational Weather Radars
The primary purpose of the meeting is to conduct a thorough review and finalization of the draft versions of Volumes IV, V, and VI of the Guide to Operational Weather Radar Best Practices towards finalizing them for their submission to the third session of the Commission for Observation, Infrastructure and Information Systems (INFCOM-3), which is scheduled to take place during the first quarter of 2024. The meeting will also cover other topics outlined in the Work Plan of JET-OWR, such as methods, models, and formats for the international exchange of weather radar data and metadata, provided sufficient time will be available.
