RA II Working Group on Weather, Climate, Water and Related Environmental Services and Applications

The Tenth meeting of the WMO Regional Association (RA) II (Asia) Working Group on Weather, Climate, Water and Related Environmental Services and Applications (RA II WG-Services), will be held in Chongqing, China from 14 to 16 November 2023.

Purpose

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the progress of activities and the update of the RA II Operating Plan under the RA II Services domain, with a particular focus on achieving full early warning coverage in the region, aligned with the United Nations Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative, and to prepare for the Eighteenth session of RA II (RA II-18) scheduled to be held in 2024 in Saudi Arabia. This will be the first occasion for this WG to meet face-to-face since the last RA II session.
