METEOTERM
METEOTERM is the official WMO terminology database. It contains specialized terminology related to the Organization's areas of expertise in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.
METEOTERM is now integrated into UNTERM, the United Nations Terminology Database.
Search tips
To view only WMO entries in UNTERM, click on "Advanced search" and select "WMO" under "All data sets".
You can select your working languages from the "Settings" option.
New and revised terms
The METEOTERM database is not definitive or exhaustive. Any suggestions for additions or amendments are welcome.
You can provide feedback about a specific term by clicking "Open" to the left of it. Click on “Send feedback” at the bottom of the record page. You can also send your suggestions directly to lsu[at]wmo.int.
