First Meeting of the CCl Task Team on Climate Services Toolkit and Downscaling (TT-CSTD)

The Task Team on Climate Services Toolkit and Downscaling (TT-CSTD) is one of the teams supporting the work under the Commission for Climatology (CCl) Focus Area 2, which deals with Climate Services Information system (CSIS). The Team’s mission is to lead the development and deployment of the Climate Services Toolkit on regional and national scales and development of guidance on downscaling of climate predictions and projections. The meeting of the TT-CSTD is being held in the WMO Headquarters on 17-19 December 2018, with the objectives to review the current status of the CST, and elaborate on further work, including development of a workshop concept for CST training, as well as a guidance on customization and deployment of Climate Services Toolkit, in order to facilitate its wider use by Members.
