About Climate Coordination Activities

The purposes are as follows:

• Enhancing partnerships and cooperation in climate activities, mainly on adaptation to climate variability and change,
• Increasing the value of the contributions of WMO within the United Nations System, relevant to international climate conventions,
• Mainstreaming scientific and technical products of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) at national and regional levels to adaptation planning and practices.
• Providing Secretarial support to capacity development activities in Commission for Climatology (CCl) to ensure that they are inclusive and dynamically evolve to meet emerging requirements.
