UN CC:Learn
The office of Climate Coordination Activities (CCA) serves as focal point to the One UN Climate Change Learning Partnership (UN CC:Learn). It is a collaborative initiative involving 33 multilateral organizations which supports countries in designing and implementing country-driven, results-oriented and sustainable learning to address climate change. The initiative was launched at the 2009 Copenhagen Climate Change Summit.
UN CC:Learn is included in the "One UN Climate Change Action Framework" of the UN System. The global level of the UN CC:Learn initiative seeks to enhance information-exchange, develop common learning materials, and coordinate learning interventions through collaboration of UN agencies and other partners and programmes. WMO in cooperation with the UN CC:Learn Secretariat has prepared two Resource Guides for Advance Learning on the:
- Fundamentals of Climate Change Science, and
- Predicting and projecting climate change
