Aviation | News | 2020-04-08 | Postponement of the 2020 UKMO/WMO Aviation Meteorology Training Seminar due to COVID-19 pandemic
In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, WMO in consultation with the UK Met Office (UKMO) and the Meteorological Service of Singapore (MSS) has taken the decision to postpone the annual UKMO/WMO Aviation Meteorology Training Seminar.
The seminar was due to be held at the offices of MSS in Singapore in mid-October 2020.
Instead, the seminar is now tentatively rescheduled to take place between April and October 2021 (precise date to be determined) at the same location.
WMO will make a ‘pre-announcement’ soon.
The full announcement and call for nominations will be released in the first or second quarter of 2021.
