WMO and FAO Regional Offices Join Efforts with Member States in Promoting Action for Sustainable Food Systems to Address Climate Change Challenges

As the world faces the urgent realities of climate change, the fifth Food Systems Talk, titled "Feeding Europe in a Changing Climate," is taking place. This event is organized by the regional offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) within the regional UN Issue-based Coalition on Sustainable Food Systems. It sheds light on how climate change profoundly affects our food systems.

The upcoming UN Food Systems Stocktaking Moment makes it clear that addressing climate change's impact on our food systems is crucial.
