The 8th Meeting of the Expert Team on MHEWS Technical Guide (ET-MTG-8)
The documents for the Eighth meeting of the Expert Team on MHEWS Technical Guide (ET-MTG-8) will be made available here.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss on:
1) Implementing the Resolution 11 (EC-76) to support Members prone to tropical cyclones to implement the Guide for National MHEWS coordination mechanism/procedures/protocol/systems which are the essential part of the national EW4ALL;
2) Developing a concept note, which will be submitted to SERCOM-III for approval, on an implementation plan of the Guide in relation to multi-hazard early warning system (MHEWS) design and development to enable Members to establish their national coordination mechanisms, procedures, protocols, systems and services. The implementation plan of the Guide is planned to be submitted for approval in EC-79 (2025);
3) Ways of providing expert services to Members in need of such expertise/knowledge, etc.
