The hybrid event looked at the State of the Climate 2023 reports for Asia and the South-West Pacific, the World Meteorological Organization's (WMO) annual flagship publications. Embedded within the ASEAN Specialised Meteorological Centre (ASMC)-WMO Forum "Towards a Weather-Ready and Climate-Resilient ASEAN" in Singapore, the Southeast Asia (SEA) region was particularly highlighted. Mr Ben Churchill, Director of the Regional Office for Asia and the South-West Pacific (RAP) delivered a keynote address and Prof. Celeste Saulo, Secretary-General of the WMO, discussed on translating climate information into action as a panellist. Participants, both attending in person and online, are invited to engage in a Q&A session to discuss the report's findings.
