WMC Beijing Workshop on New Technology and Products
The World Meteorological Centre Beijing Workshop on New Technology and Products will be co-organized by World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and China Meteorological Administration (CMA) in a hybrid format in Guangzhou, China, from 12 to 14 November 2024.
The workshop aims to enhance the support to the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) initiative through the improved access to graphical numerical weather prediction (NWP) products and nowcasting products. The three-day workshop will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence in weather forecasting and nowcasting, and WMO Integrated Processing and Prediction System (WIPPS) Pilot Projects exploring the application of emerging technologies and enhanced visualization of NWP products.
The provisional concept note is here.
The local information can be found here and further updated one for the local information.
The templates of documents can be downloaded from here when it needed to present in the workshop.
