World Meteorological Organization

     Access to high-quality, high-resolution Earth system analysis and prediction products is essential for all National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) to forecast weather conditions including high-impact phenomena and issue warnings on hazardous weather, water and climate events to their public.  The improvement in access to Earth system prediction products will enhance national early warning systems, resulting in saving more lives and better protecting properties. 

     While the demand for digital products of Earth system analysis and prediction is very high, many NMHSs, especially those in developing countries, also expressed their needs to access graphical products. In fact, many World meteorological Centres (WMCs), within WMO Integrated Processing and Prediction System (WIPPS), produce graphical products and make them available to Members, and some of them also provide the Web Map Service (WMS). 

    To ensure that all WMO Members could take advantage of available graphical products, WMO organize a series of online webinars to introduce the up-to-date graphical product services from WMCs. 

    The first webinars will be held shown below to introduce the ECMWF's ecCharts and Web Map Service (WMS).
