In support of WMO's Global Campus initiative, a Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT) is pleased to offer a three-part webinar series in June and August 2025 exploring the latest updates, practical application and implementation experiences related to the WMO Basic Instruction Package for Meteorologists (BIP-M) and Basic Instruction Package for Meteorological Technicians (BIP-MT).
The BIP-M and BIP-MT are of particular relevance to aeronautical meteorological personnel, forecasters and observers respectively.
The webinars will be held as follows:
- Webinar 1: BIP-M and BIP-MT Reimagined: Key Changes from the 2023 Revision, 25 June 2025, 1200 UTC start.
- Webinar 2: BIP-MT in Action: Practical Insights from Lesotho and Argentina, 20 August 2025, 1200 UTC start.
- Webinar 3: BIP-M in Practice: Examples of Pathways to Implementation, 27 August 2025, 1200 UTC start.
