TT-Protocols objectives
The Task Team on Protocols (TT-Protocols) specifies the protocols and interfaces of, and oversees pilot projects related to, Message Queue Protocols (MQP) planned to be used in the WMO Information System 2.0 (WIS 2.0). The Task Team's Terms of Reference are to:
- Run & oversee WIS 2.0 demonstration project regarding message queue protocols (MPQ)
- Propose topic structure for the usage of MQPs in WIS 2.0
- Propose message structure for the usage of MQPs in WIS 2.0
- Propose mapping of topic structures between MQP protocols and versions
- Draft Technical Regulations for the usage of MQPs in WIS 2.0
