The office of Climate Coordination Activities (CCA) serves as focal point to Global Programme of Research on Climate Change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation (PROVIA), which is implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), as a component of the WCP.

The coordination ensures that overarching issues relevant to the World Climate Programme (WCP), its four components and their interaction with GFCS are conducted in an integrated manner.
