The history of ABO Water Vapor Measurement with WVSS-II and TAMDAR
The major milestones for both observation methods are:
1. Development of the sensor/system
2. Development of Supplemental Type Certifications (STCs) on various aircraft types, to certify it is safe to install and operate in commercial aviation
3. Technical evaluation of operational units, and the documentation in associated studies, reports, publications, standards, and the scientific literature
4. Implementation of sensor/system for supply of ABO WVM data for NMHS operations
