An Introductory Training on Nowcasting of Severe Weather is organized for Cambodia and Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) as part of the CREWS-Cambodia and Lao PDR project. To be conducted remotely online in collaboration with RSMC Hong Kong and in support of SWFP-Southeast Asia, the nowcasting training will focus on interpretation and use of satellite and radar information in monitoring and nowcasting of severe weather. The training aims to develop capacity of the operational staff from National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) of the two countries.
