CREWS/SWFP-South Pacific Training Workshop on Severe Weather and Impact Based Forecasting and Warning Services
RSMC Wellington in collaboration with WMO and development partners is organizing CREWS/SWFP-South Pacific Training Workshop on Severe Weather Forecasting and Impact Based Forecasting and Warning Services in May 2021. The training workshop will be delivered remotely online for ten Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in South Pacific including Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. For Niue and the Cook Islands (which lie to the east of the international date line and are a calendar day behind the others), the training workshop will be conducted from 17 to 21 May 2021 (18 to 22 May New Zealand time), while for the rest of the eight SIDS, the training workshop will be organized from 24 to 28 May 2021.
