3rd Session of the Inter-Programme Team on Space Weather Information, Systems and Services (IPT-SWeISS-3)

Commission for Aeronautical Meteorology

Commission for Basic Systems/Open Programme Area Group on Data-Processing and Forecasting System

Third Session of the Inter-Programme Team on Space Weather Information, Systems and Services
(IPT-SWeISS-3)

Date: 25-27 November 2019

Registration: 25 November, 08:30-09:00AM

Start of the meeting: 25 November, 9:00AM

Venue: Brussels, Belgium, the Royal Observatory of Belgium (meeting room)

Location and access: The meeting will be held in the Royal Observatory of Belgium (https://www.astro.oma.be/en/) located in the outskirts of Brussels (Ringlaan 3 Avenue Circulaire; 1180 Brussels). Instructions on how to reach the observatory can be found here: https://www.astro.oma.be/en/information/getting-to-the-observatory/

In case you are planning to travel onwards from Space Weather Week there are regular trains between Liège and Brussels, a journey that takes between 1 and 1,5 hours (train schedules can be consulted at https://www.belgiantrain.be/en).

Hotels: There are not many options available for staying in the immediate neighborhood of the Observatory. So you are more likely to choose from the many options downtown. Keep in mind this means you'll need to use some form of tram/bus connection (count some 30 minutes) each day to reach the Observatory.

Visa information: Required information is available at the website of the Immigration Office https://dofi.ibz.be/sites/dvzoe/EN/Pages/home.aspx and at  https://diplomatie.belgium.be/en/services/travel_to_belgium/visa_for_belgium.
