This Publication contains the list of meteorological bulletins for global, inter-regional and regional exchange on the Global Telecommunication System:
UPDATE
The 3rd session of Commission for Observation, Infrastructure, and Information Systems (INFCOM-3) which was held from 15 to 19 April 2024 approved the TRANSITION FROM WIS 1.0 AND GLOBAL TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM (GTS) TO WIS 2.0, INCLUDING CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT, which was then endorsed by the EC-78 held in June 2024. One of the decisions is that the Manual on the Global Telecommunication System (WMO-No. 386) will no longer be updated from 31 December 2024. At the same time, MetNo and VolC1 will not be updated starting 1 January 2025.

Updating procedures and method of notifying the WMO Secretariat of amendments:
- Semi Annual updates (SA) = A complete list of bulletins under the RTH zone of responsibility
- Advanced Notification (AN) = Amendments to the current list of bulletins under RTH zone of responsibility
Who maintains the Catalogue
World Meteorological Centres (WMCs) and the Regional Telecommunication Hubs (RTHs) on the Main Telecommunication Network (MTN) shall maintain the Catalogue of Meteorological Bulletins as regards bulletins issued from the zone for which they are responsible for the collection, exchange and distribution of data, and also including data from the Antarctica, as appropriate.
