World Meteorological Organization

1. To support the training and technical support activities on WIGOS tools, RWC activities and other related WIGOS activities, such as national and regional WIGOS and GBON Implementation, including the WIGOS Station Identifiers, giving highest priority to GBON and RBON training and support activities;

2. To liaise with the Regional Associations working bodies and RWCs regarding relevant training and technical support activities to Members for a better understanding and increased awareness of WIGOS and GBON implementation and improved skills for usage of WIGOS tools giving highest priority to GBON and RBON training and support activities;

3. To provide guidance and promote the further development and review of learning tools and material on the usage of WIGOS tools by RWCs and Members, as well as on national and regional WIGOS and GBON Implementation, including the WIGOS Station Identifiers;

4. To develop and contribute to implement a train-the-trainers programme for RWCs and WIGOS tools training and technical support activities, including supporting the requirements for GBON and RBON;

5. To coordinate closely with SC-ON and INFCOM training and technical support activities and to share ET-WT/TT-WCD activities with these teams.
