Former Task Teams

Tiger Team on Hydrology (2021-2022)

The Tiger Team on Hydrology built on the specifics of the WMO Hydrological Research Strategy 2022-2030: Operational Hydrology Research Priorities, as endorsed by the WMO Congress in October 2021 (Resolution 5 (Cg-Ext(2021)), and extended the work to be inclusive of hydrological research activities from the WMO sponsored and co-sponsored research programmes  (WWRP, WCRP and GAW). The Tiger Team aimed to map current activities, identify potential and synergies across the research programmes, and suggest joint implementation actions to the WMO RB.

Task Team on COVID-19 Meteorological and Air Quality Factors (2020-2021)

This Task Team was established to address the real-time challenge of providing decision- support knowledge on the climate, weather, and air pollution drivers and determinants of the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 pandemic and providing a platform to discuss and share science-based insights while fostering functional partnerships.
