Terms of Reference
ToR for the RA III Gender Focal Point (RA III FP-GEN)
(1) Ensure the adaptation and implementation of the WMO Gender Action Plan (2024–2027) at the regional level by analysing its applicability and relevance, identifying regional needs and priorities, and coordinating regional implementation;
(2) Raise awareness of Members on gender equality issues and measures related to NMHSs and strengthen their capacity to implement the Action Plan;
(3) Provide diverse and balanced gender and regional representation expertise, dialogue focused on these two issues and promote communication on these issues through regular meetings and discussions to establish a community of practice in gender and regional
representation;
(4) Coordinate with other WMO subsidiary bodies on gender issues.
