World Meteorological Organization

Regional Association III has 13 members representing a wide diversity of territories and climatic zones. From the estuaries of La Plata and Amazon to the snow-capped peaks of the Andes, passing through extensive wetlands and Yungas, RA III presents opportunities and challenges in the areas of observation and monitoring of the weather, climate, water and environment. In order to respond to the needs of members in these areas, RA III has been structured into 5 Working Groups, two expert teams and one task team.
