  • The 14th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Apia, Samoa from 16 to 20 July 2012.

  • The Nineth Southern Hemisphere Training Course on Tropical Cyclones for Members of the RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee  for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Melbourne from 5 to 23 September 2011

  • The 13th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Bali, Indonesia from 26 to 29 April 2010.

  • The Eighth Southern Hemisphere Training Course on Tropical Cyclones for Members of the RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee  for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean and the RA I Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South-West Indian Ocean was held in Melbourne from 29 September to 16 October 2009

  • The 12th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Alofi, Niue from 11 to 17 July 2008.

  • The 11th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Adelaide, Australia from 4 to 8 May 2006.

  • The Sixth Southern Hemisphere Training Course on Tropical Cyclones for Members of the RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee  for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean and the RA I Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South-West Indian Ocean was held in Melbourne from 9 to 27 May 2005.

  • The 10th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Brisbane, Australia from 10 to 15 July 2004.

  • The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM, Australia) organized the Fifth Southern Hemisphere Training Course on Tropical Cyclones for Members of the RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee  for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean and the RA I Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South-West Indian Ocean which was held in Melbourne from 23 September to 4 October 2002.

  • The 9th Session of RA V Tropical Cyclone Committee for the South Pacific and South-East Indian Ocean was held in Manila, Philippines from 16 to 20 May 2002.

  • The EU South Pacific Tropical Cyclone Warning Upgrade Project ended in March 2000. The 52nd WMO Executive Council (May 2000) noted that the project had provided valuable contributions to improving facilities and capacity building among the many WMO Member countries in the South-West Pacific and expressed its appreciation to the EU for the assistance provided and looked forward to its continuing support to the Region.
