Working Group on Digital Transformation for Hydrology and Water Resources
To drive digital transformation in the field of operational hydrology, SC-HYD 2 has established a dedicated Working Group on Digital Transformation for Hydrology and Water Resources (WG DT-HWR). This group will focus on leveraging new technologies across the hydrological value chain and developing approaches to engage stakeholders, including the private sector. A key milestone will be the preparation of guidelines that outlines strategies for multi-stakeholder collaboration, supported by case studies showcasing innovative partnerships and applications, all aligned with the WMO Plan of Action for Hydrology 2022–2030.
The Working Group was formally launched at the 1st UN Virtual Worlds Day in Geneva.
