The Commission for Weather, Climate, Hydrological, Marine and Related Environmental Services & Applications (SERCOM) supports the WMO Strategic Plan by developing globally harmonized services and applications related to weather, climate, hydrological, marine, cryosphere, and environmental services. The Commission aims to enhance informed decision-making and provide socioeconomic benefits to various sectors, including disaster risk reduction, public services, agriculture, fisheries, water management, transport, health, energy, urban development, environment and natural resources, including forestry.
