Introduction
The 2024 Writing Workshop of the Task Team on the Long-term Plan for Aeronautical Meteorology (TT-LTP-2024) will take place as an in-person only workshop at WMO headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland from 28 to 30 October 2024.
The objective of the workshop is review, discuss and write new or updated content for the next (second) edition of WMO's Long-term Plan for Aeronautical Meteorology (LTP-AeM), which is expected to be published in 2026 or 2027. The first edition of the LTP-AeM was published by WMO in 2019.
