The WMO Regional Association IV (North America, Central America and Caribbean) Expert Team on Services for Aviation (ET-AVI) will convene a web-based seminar ('webinar') on quality management systems (QMS) on 29 and 30 June 2023, 1600-1815 UTC daily.
The webinar will cover topics that include QMS requirements and drivers for implementation, meteorological instrument calibration good practices, and the relevance of competency management systems including competency frameworks and tools.
The webinar will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation into Spanish.
NOTE: The webinar is only open to WMO Members located in RA IV, namely: Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Caribbean Territories, Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Saint Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago plus the overseas territories of France, Netherlands and United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
