World Meteorological Organization

The Technical Development Component works on the technical aspects of HydroSOS, including research and innovation and is responsible for the following:

• Analyze and develop methods and tools to help Members implement HydroSOS
• Understand Implementation needs and support technical issues.
• Work with WMO Technical Commissions to:
  • Develop technical protocols for HydroSOS IT infrastructure and data transfer
  • Develop product standardization guidelines and its dissemination
