CREWS / SWFP – West and Central Africa - Training Workshop on Severe Weather and Impact Based Forecasting and Warning Services (ONLINE)

The CREWS/SWFP training workshop has been planned online remotely for countries in West and Central Africa. To be organized in collaboration with RSMC Dakar, contributing Global Centres (including Met Office UK, ECMWF, NOAA/NCEP and Meteo-France), RSMC Barcelona (WMO Dust Regional Centre), and COMET/MetEd, it will address the capacity building needs of operational forecasters and public weather services (PWS) staff of NMHSs of  countries involved in WMO Severe Weather Forecasting programme (SWFP) and the Climate Risk and EArly Warning Systems (CREWS) initiative funded projects in West and Central Africa.
