SWFP – Southern Africa - Training Workshop on Severe Weather and Impact-based Forecasting and Warning Services (ONLINE, 3-7 October 2022)
The SWFP-Southern Africa Training Workshop on Severe Weather and Impact-based Forecasting and Warning Services is to be organized online remotely by RSMC & RTC Pretoria in collaboration with Met Office UK. The training workshop will address capacity development needs of operational forecasters including public weather services (PWS) staff of the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) of 16 countries involved in WMO Severe Weather Forecasting Programme (SWFP) in Southern Africa.
