WIS| News | 2024-07 | Update on WIS2 Global Services Performance Test Preparation
The WIS2 Global Services performance test is scheduled to assess the system's readiness for the operational phase starting in January 2025. This test will also help refine the functions and technical specifications of the global services.
The Preparation meeting of WIS 2.0 Global Services Performance Test was held from 21 to 24 May 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. During the event, all Global Services operators gathered, including
- Global Broker: Brazil, China, France, and the US
- Global Cache: China, Germany, Japan, Republic of Korea, UK&US
- Global Discovery Catalogue: Canada, China, and Republic of Korea
- Global Monitor: China and Morocco
The participants focused on updating their current progress and developing the testing program, test scenarios, and criteria for global services.
To further refine and finalize the program, the teams also conduct regular meetings between June and July. This preparation aims to ensure a smooth and thorough testing phase, which will commence on September 27 and continue until November 18, 2024.
