The Expert Team on Guidance and Oversight of Capacity Development Matters (ET-GO) supports EC-CDP by guiding WMO efforts to strengthen assistance to NMHSs in developing countries, including reviewing major capacity development activities such as CREWS, SOFF, and twinning. It helps coordinate work across WMO to reduce duplication, identify gaps, and review funding mechanisms. ET-GO also supports assessing needs, fostering cooperation at all levels, engaging academia and NMHS staff, and considering inputs from technical commissions.
