The Black Sea and Middle East Flash Flood Guidance System (BSMEFFGS) enhances flash flood forecasting and warning across countries in the Black Sea and Middle East. It focuses on providing real-time and forecast-based guidance using satellite, radar and rainfall data to help national hydrometeorological services issue timely alerts, strengthen regional cooperation and reduce the impacts of flash floods.
